I have 8 years of experience designing interactions (IxD), interfaces (UI) and some time products (IoT) in order to create memorable experiences (UX) for users. Working for large companies and startups I can methodologies to various projects environnements such as lab explorations, research, company based on a service, IT services industry...
Being curious about the design best practice I keep in watch about design methodologies. After a master degree in Interaction Design (École de Design Nantes Atlantic / School of Design Nantes Atlantic) and another degree in Gestion of Innovative Project (Institut d'Administration Des Entreprises / Institute of Administration and University of Nantes) I get lucky exploring different fields like graphic, web design, ergonomics study, developing and co-design workshop.
It has given me the opportunity to work in different design lab (Ergonomic, UX/UI, Mobile, Innovation, Digital practices, UX Studio) on the transformation of the practices in various fields (Banking, Finance, Transportation, Energies, Government, Healthcare, Telecom, Aeronautics...) it get me the opportunity to cross bridges in order to help my clients innovate.
Thinking a strategic experience
Develop a user empathy to define product strategy and adapt a design methodology that will lead to product matching user’s feeling and company’s strategy.
Project the vision in time span
The interaction design is made from a single module to a complete workflow. With the modules we focus on meaningful behavioral response. With the workflow we prototype (high or low fidelity) to give a vision in time span.
Naturally translate vision in screens
From the graphic look and feel to the assets strategy (eg. atomic design) or the guidelines (eg. responsive templates, graphic layout, acdesibility) we give a projection of the project reality.
Include users in a collaborative methodology
This is a workshop methodology gathering a large immersion going from users vision and company strategy to the pragmatic technical vue.
Finding new solutions
Throw exploartion on the field and in the best practices we can make new pattern that feet our needs.
Test to ensure we meet the users needs or to calculate the product ROI and improve it. Eg quality, A/B
Made with users
As a part of the UX methodology, we use centric methodology focus on the satisfaction of the end users often based on the product memorability.
A condense of my design experiences by type of project support.
Lead and communicate with users, product owner, tech team and companies strategic planners.
For me testing is an important part of the design job.
Here are the essential I never loose of sight.
The basics tools I use to formalize projects.
Thinking the interactions in a time period and projecting user’sstories.
Using collaborative tools and prototyping tools to demonstrate the workflow.
Crossing the bridge between the conception and the realisazion.
Understanding the technical views and some time help the on the frontend part.
This is my design process as I put it in motion as complete as possible according to projects constraintes and ressources.
